ICS Triplex T8431 40 Channels Triple Modular Redundant Analog Input Module with 1 ms SOE Resolution

The Trusted® TMR 24 Vdc Analog Input Module (ICS Triplex T8431) interfaces to 40 sourcing field input devices, acting as a current sink for all connected devices. Comprehensive diagnostic tests are performed on each input channel, and fault tolerance is achieved through a Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) architecture within the Module for all 40 input channels.

Using the built-in line monitoring feature, the Module can detect open-circuit and short-circuit field cables. Line monitoring functions are independently configurable on a per-channel basis, allowing flexible configuration to suit individual field wiring and application requirements.

The Module provides onboard Sequence of Events (SOE) reporting with a 1 ms resolution, where any change of state triggers an SOE entry. Input states are determined by configurable voltage thresholds on a per-channel basis. When the field voltage and field return are connected to the auxiliary input channels of the Module, the thresholds can be specified as a ratio of the field supply voltage.
